So, I have almost finished all my fest writing, so I'm now casting around for other things. Inspired slightly by fleete making a list of her Merlin wips, I thought I'd do the same (but all fandoms), to see if there was anything that catches my muse. Requests taken!


Merlin
- Merlin/Scott Pilgrim mash-up, with Arthur as Scott, Merlin as Ramona, and Mordred as Gideon (also Leon as Wallace :D)
- Leon/Merlin canon era: for a kmm prompt - Leon always had a thing for Merlin but he is a noble and Merlin isn't. Seeing Arthur fall in love with Gwen/knight non-nobles etc leads Leon to think about making a move on Merlin.
- Arthur/Gwaine: Forced to spend a night in a cell together, they get to know each other better.
- A paperlegends idea: Canon era, magical reveal. Arthur realises that Merlin is still a flaily mess even with magic, he uses his tactical knowledge and skills training knights to figure out Merlin's magic - strengths, boundaries, etc.
- Merlin/Gwaine(/Gwen, possibly). Merlin is a piercer, Gwen is a tattoo artist. Together they run a shop. Gwaine is a friend/lover who hangs about. Gwaine ends up getting a corset piercing, aftercare etc.
- Student!Merlin/Teacher!Gwaine
- I have 1k of Merlin/Gwaine/Percival porn with Gwaine directing the scene titled sortofcukold?

Avengers
- Touch starved!Bruce/Clint. Because I can.

Teen Wolf
- Stiles gets a tongue piercing, Derek gets distracted because a)smell of blood/metal etc is unusual and b) Stiles isn't talking. And then porn.

Sherlock
- Not technically a WIP but I want to do a Mycroft/John fic with them dealing with Richenbach and Mycroft knowing about Sherlock faking his death, but not being able to tell John for John's safety and Mycroft trying desperately to keep everyone safe, and maybe ends up losing John and having to make it up to him etc etc

Paperlegends rough draft is due in exactly two weeks today *flails*

They've said there probably won't be a December exchange. I've never missed a Holmestice exchange. It was the first exchange I participated in, and I adore it. But the deadline is in May, and I don't think I should sign up with all the other stuff I've got going on. It's not fair on anyone. But I'm really quite sad at the idea of not signing up, because it's a thing I've always looked forward to (which sounds really weird but it's true).

I've got a week to decide, so I guess I can see if I can get HS_Merlin finished this weekend and get Sherlock ReBang started/a lot of work on Paperlegends?

I think I've finished my Hp_kinkfest fic *flails* Just shy of 10k and ugh, hard thing to write.

I'm not sure on the ending (but I'm never sure on endings), but yeah. I could post this and not hate it and myself for it.

P.S analise010 Sorry I missed you on Gdocs earlier - I was all ready to write and then got totally distracted (I need a do not disturb: writing sign or something). Thank you for putting up with my flakiness and angst! <3

Also I've started a tiny Mystrade fill on the meme (if anyone would like to beta/read through, I'd be open to volunteers :) ). So, finish that tomorrow, then work on paperlegends.

So, I'm planning my Merlin big bang at the moment, and it's ...odd. I don't normally plan. Anyone who's ever beta'd for me will know that what I start off writing and the finished product can be almost entirely different things.

I write ideas as they come and then mould, edit, and shift them to where they fit as my ideas evolve. I write scenes out of order, leave them half finished to jump to another idea I've had - it's surprising anything I produce makes sense. I feel for anyone who betas for me, I really do.

But I'm planning this fic. Timelines, character backgrounds, scenes, the works. I tried to write some the other day, and I came to something I hadn't figured out, and I stopped and went to plan it out. Which felt odd. Normally I would just breeze through it, put a and move on, but I couldn't here. I had to go plan (incidentally, I'm using scrivener at the moment - it's very good isn't it? Not sure I'll be able to afford the full amount come the end of my trial. I might have to see if there are any alternatives anywhere.

I'm not sure if it's because I'm worried I'll forget things during the long slog of writing it, or because paperlegends hasn't started yet, or just because I'm paranoid I won't hit the word count (never mind the deadline), but apparently I now have to plan everything for this fic. Which means my cheerleader is getting a lot of flailing from me.

Did I mention that I claimed a prompt at hp_kinkfest? I totally did. I've already got something vague down (500 words of random scenes with a sortof timeline - as always it's the ending that's got me stumped), and my posting date is fairly late, so *fingers crossed* I'll be less angsty about this one.

Harry Potter was my first fandom and re-watching the films are making me very nostalgic for it.
