DOCTOR WHO: Lets kill Hitler

blue_eyed_1987Spoilers under the cut, yo! I'll probably be flailing about all of the eps, but I'll include the tag Dr Who:2011, so feel free to filter that out if you have a paid account.
It'll be public and mostly be under an LJ cut, to save my US friends, so the posts shouldn't be too big for you to skip :)
Mels/River -interesting? Shooting the TARDIS is pretty unforgivable IMO. It's the TARDIS. Although death by Hitler is a bit harsh. I'm not sure of her point, other than to get them to Germany, y'know?
Ignore that, clearly I need to start believing in Moffatt. Because Mels is River. I probably should've recognised the gun. Obviously. But also not River. Mel matchmaking between Rory and Amy was fantastic. Poor Rory.
Psychopath!River was kindof fun if also a bit heartbreaking. The confusion when she's told she's the child of the TARDIS is wonderful.
Plot - miniaturization! Which was interesting. And used to mete out justice.
Dr - It was stated that the Dr can't regenerate anymore. I assume that The Moff will write around that at somepoint. Like in this ep with River giving him her regeneration power.
Matt Smith is so flaily. And so pulls of a suit and top hat.
Other - RORY PUNCHED HITLER. And then shoved him in a cupboard. Fantastic.
"I'm trapped inside a robot replica of my wife. I'm trying not to see the metaphor."
The acting is really good in this ep. Really. Overall good, but a lot of knowledge imparted, I guess? And not too many questions - other than the ultimate question (first question - I think I'm getting confused with hitchhiker's), i'm used to being all WTF after episodes. I mean I enjoyed it, the characters are really meshing well, and I like Rory and Amy's relationship now :)
Next ep: SCARY DOLL THINGS KILL THEM WITH FIRE.
