I need to write 7k for the expected word count, but possibly more to get it to the 'beginning, middle, end' state. But I managed to get 2k down last night, so I'm feeling pretty good right now.

Argh, I hate it when life gets in the way (congratulations on the new job, though!) Is there any way I can help? I can grab my pompoms if needed :) How much do you need to write?

I'm with you on the Paperlegends pressure. I have over 30K now, but I'm still not close to done with the actual story. At least I can relax a bit about having past the minimum word count, but the pressure to get the whole story completed is a whole other can of beans. :p

I know! I mean, I haven't got the word count yet (I've only got just under 12k), but I'm not too worried about that, I'm just worried about getting it finished!

I'm shaking my head at believing I'd be done with the story at 30K. I was at 20K when I thought that but I underestimated the power of words. :p And my other guess at the fic totaling 40K got shot too as I'm over 40K now. oO Whoops. No more predictions now. I'll just be wrong again. :p lol
