I've been a bit 'meh' recently. I want to write but I can't focus on any one idea long enough to actually go through with it? This has been the first time in a loooong time that I haven't had a deadline for writing. I think I've forgotten how to write off my own back :/ Quick someone poke me to write something!
I also want to write a John/Sherlock/Lestrade fic, and some lady fic. Either femslash or just awesome ladies being awesome, but I've never written it before? *ponders*
I haven't felt like reading fic either DDD: which is a shame because some of the fests are producing some awesome stuff but I'm just...meh? meh meh meh.
I blame Christmas. I love Christmas, I just don't want to spend it around my parents - they're far too stressful (and this year is going to be even worse, because they're strapped for cash this year, which makes them feel bad). And I need a lift back on Boxing Day (which I haven't asked my stepdad about yet - if I do it now he'll forget by the actual day and that'll be a whole new level of shit). Dreading it, tbh. BUT it doesn't matter. Because my siblings are awesome and I'll only be there for 5 days, for that's totally do-able.
Work is work, nothing new there.
Weekend! Do you have any plans, flist? How are you? Friday hug?
